spanish game

This online game is called Mi familia. It is excellent for beginners learning family and house vocabulary or as a review for kids who are already familiar with the words. The activities are simple, and there is a lot of clear Spanish audio. It is a set of exercises, so there is plenty of repetition. The activities use a limited set of vocabulary and that makes them perfect for beginners.

The games are from Spain and the letters are written as children learn to write there. The letters may be hard to distinguish for kids who are just learning to read. In several of the activities, though, they are matching audio to a picture, so the written word does not matter.

andando y andando llegó a la ciudad.

El pato y la pata tuvieron un patito
muy chiquitito, muy chiquitito.
¿Sabeis lo que vio en esa ciudad?
Coches que corrían, corrían sin parar.

El pato y la pata tuvieron un patito
muy chiquitito, muy chiquitito.
¡Qué casas tan altas!
¡Qué miedo me da!
Me voy a casita con papa y mamá.

El pato y la pata tuvieron un patito
muy chiquitito, muy chiquitito.
Y esta es la historia del pato Cua Cua
que andando y andando llegó a la ciudad.

El pato y la pata tuvieron un patito
muy chiquitito, muy chiquitito.
